Sunita holds a bachelor's in law and has been working with ChoraChori Nepal since 2018. She is the Deputy Director and Legal Officer and is in charge of handling all legal cases. She also assists in the rescue and repatriation work, and is in the frontline to deal with the government authorities.
Originally from Kerala, south India, former Catholic sister Shailaja CM has been living in Nepal for the past 30 years. She has been dedicated to working for children and providing them with long-term care since then. She is the founder of ChoraChori Nepal, and is currently leading the office as the Operations Director. She is in charge of project implementation and leads child rescue missions in India and Nepal.
Mani has been working with Shailaja since the beginning of CCN. She is capable of handling multi-task and has a big heart to work for the sake of children.
Roma is originally from Kathmandu, and has over a 13 years of experience working with children. With a background in social work , she is committed to contributing to child protection at her best. Currently, she is the Executive Director of ChoraChori Nepal and works with the Operations Director on overall management.
Rita, who has been with CCN since its establishment, is currently involved in research, rescue, and the repatriation of children engaged in child labor. She also works closely with the government to liaise and document these activities in the Makwanpur district. With over two decades of experience, she has developed strong qualities in working closely with children.
Shankar is a dedicated in finance known for his accuracy, attention to detail, and strong understanding of program operations. He effectively manages financial records, supports budgeting processes, and helps ensure smooth day-to-day accounting activities.
